Participatory mapping: a creative methodology to foster multi-stakeholder engagement

This presentation featured a creative methodology in integrating the knowledge of different actors including local people and marginalized sectors in risk assessment and decision-making. The methodology uses a participatory mapping activity at the community level and GIS-based hazard mapping procedure at the municipal level.
