Hello, thx very much for the Template and the Video :) 💯Unfortunately, it doesn't quite work for me. If I set the time offset so that the effect only starts from a certain frame, it starts right from the beginning. Do you have any ideas?

This add on did not work for me and it caused Davinci Resolve to crash, is it not compatible w/ Davinci Resolve 18.6? If so why don't you put which version of Davinci Resolve this effect is compatible with? Or maybe I/m not using it right, I didn't put the effect over a text, I used it as a transition from one scene to another, is this why it caused Davinci Resolve to crash?

Hi bro, excellent and generous tool and tutorial. indeed I'm facing some trouble in using it, though my Desktop always showed powerful in any editing condition in the past (with other tool of yours as well). Here, applying your feature on title clip, nothing appears fluent and the Title clip seems going on jerky gait, without possibility to scroll easily throught that. Maybe some setting to set up (though never incurred in trouble in the past): any hint here fron your side?

Thank you for the comment, you can try to reduce the number of particles.The fusion particle system is indeed resource intensive. You can also try to create the particle effect in the fusion page and see how these particle nodes affect the performance.

Great plugin, any suggestions for resizing and moving a logo before adding the effect? After resizing the logo and adding the effect I still see pieces of the original logo size and placement...thanks for a fantastic plugin!

Thanks. After resizing your logo, convert it to a compound clip, and then you apply the the effect.

You can click the link in the description to download the template, unzip the file, click the .drfx file to install the effect template into DaVinci Resolve.

Couple questions if that's alright! 1) It seems to just place an infinite loop of particles leaving the logo, but the logo never actually disappears -- any ideas? Making a compound clip solved this (I couldn't move the logo's location either but compound clip also solved this). 2) Is there a way to make the particles move slower? I don't mean the time it takes for the image to be dissolved away, but rather the speed the particles are moving once they've left the image. The velocity parameter seems to have no impact on this.

I had similar issue with resized images, and the workaround is making compound clips. Depending on the forces you apply to the particles, you may need to adjust the strength on the forces directly, the velocity is just for the basic directional force.

Is there a possibility in this template to use the particles to create the text instead of to let it dissolve? 'Reval The Image' still makes the particles fly away from the text, which isn't logical.

I downloaded the template, installed and applied. But my Controls >Reveal Image doesn't show the options I see in your sample. Actually in my case clicking Reveal Image doesn't change anything. There's no any Reverse Wipe options too. I use the latest DaVinci Studio version.

DaVinci Resolve needs more resource to run Fusion tools, you can try to decrease the particle number and see if that helps.

Thank you! You can try to dissolve logo, dissolve a picture, create compound clip, reverse the compound clip. dissolve the same picture, reverse dissolving logo, and so on.

Amazing tool, thanks for it. Also, your videos are superb, very informative/educational and insightful. My only observation is that the effect "struggles" with zoomed (smaller/larger) pictures, or in case cropping has applied (all in the video tab in inspector). My small work-around is to add a transform node in fusion, but I wonder if there is a better way. Hopefully you can help :-)

Frame render script is like programming the Fusion, it runs for every frame when it's being rendered, you can find Fusion script manual online if you are interested.
