It's very hip to hate Arnold now for some reason, like he didn't elevate the sport of bodybuilding out of obscurity.
@_espo_5524Ай бұрын
@@gua5432 So because he made bodybuilding more popular it is okay to rig competitions where people dedicate their life for winning titles like this but since you are not best friends with him you lose to him and his friends that were objectively worse on stage? Also bodybuilding got popular and had the idea of someone being in good shape and having healthy lifestyle. The bodybuilding he popularized and still is, having show of his own, is where people have to use steroids to achieve anything there or even compete there and modern natural competitions are held to the same standards where they have to be 6% body fat hurting their health looking worse than the naturals from 1940s and 1950s competitions. Many people that will look at bodybuilders will see that the naturals look thin because they are graded the same way someone on steroids is and the guy on steroids will be bigger, also Arnold and his friends have said they used low doses of steroids to the point that it is unrealistic and are lies.

@@MLGProMaster-tu9tz Not really, because back then the ratio between the biceps to calves, and shoulders to chest to waist was more important than size and Arnold had everything his calves were as big as his biceps, his chest was probably the best in the bodybuilding scene, but I do think that Platz put a lot more hard work and so did mike, so Arnold is just genetically gifted.

@TheShatOn11 ай бұрын
@@wladynoszhighlights5989 It is HIT. If you don't know what that is, it is essentially: Train once every 4-7 days. Train with vigorous intensity, more weight less volume, while using proper form. Focus on muscle failure. Think how Arnold trains? The exact opposite. Although both wishes to reach true muscle failure, Mentzer does it faster, more efficiently, and has more time to himself. Try reading his book a little, it really puts the perspective of it to you. And if you think it will not work, it will. Intensity and volume are inversely related. You can train either way, as long you are reaching failure.
