Beautiful. I'm a great fan of the Waillin' Jenny's. Wonderful collaboration, especially as one of the Jenny's is from Australia

Have you heard the recording by the Gondwana Chorale? Also excellent.

Wow this is really good. I've seen other groups (big and small) try to do this song in the style of The Wailin Jennys and it usually gets butchered, but this is very well done indeed.

We had the wailing Jenny's at our musical festival way back when 😂

I´m very impressed of your interpretation of this beautiful song! I would really like to sing this score with my choir and present it to our german audience! Would you be so kind and give me an option to receive it? That would be great! Thanks a lot and best wishes from germany!

This is beautiful. If I may ask where did find this arrangement? I would like my class to sing it.
@zingzangspillip111 жыл бұрын
It was arranged by the conductor, Carl Crossin.

Sounds very similar to an obscure arrangement made by an 80s Australian male acapella group called “The Phones”. This is the only other arrangement I’ve ever heard which treats the rhythm as a series of phrases with pauses in between (as if speaking - remember, this song is the spirit of the departed speaking a final toast to those he leaves behind). There is no need for a continuous background rhythm to drive the song - it works perfectly. It is an excellent, outstanding arrangement.

How can I get this arrangement? Would anyone share it with me?

Denis Costa I would look up the composer of the piece. He most likely has a website where you can get his arrangements or ask for one :)
