Might as well lock up everything and you better have employees openning the door for you

It has EVERYTHING to do with crime. All the high theft items are inside that area. There's no need for a "store within a store"..thats such BS. Come on.
@minacross979Ай бұрын
“Store within a store” 😂😂 is there a reason why your “store within a store” has a metal barricade? 😂
@StrangeSilverwareАй бұрын
We’ve had this at our Ralph’s in Alhambra for about a year but interestingly enough they also suddenly had a security trailer with lights and cameras prior to and during the installation of this section and sudden removal of it upon completion of the project. Additionally they rearranged the entire store and eliminated many higher priced items.

Stop stealing

I call bovine excrement on this. All grocery stores have spent millions of dollars on how to make their floor plan extremely convenient for customers so they can put more in their cart. This partition does the complete opposite it requires a customer to stop and engage and wait, which is something that every grocery store does not want a customer to do because if customers don't feel comfortable engaging with someone else,they will most likely not by the product unless it's absolutely necessary.

It’s still there to prevent theft. A decade ago it wasn’t so bad but still it’s their to prevent shoplifting

California has the 12th lowest threshold for theft before it becomes a felony at $950. Texas and Wisconsin are at $2500 before it's a felony. In Colorado, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina, a person can steal up to $2000 worth of merchandise before it's a felony. 33 other states after that, a person can steal between $1500 and $1000 dollars before it's a felony... California and Florida are just the couple of states that the news bothers to pick on. Let's get some perspective before we jump on only two states.
@kevinjogoo8730Ай бұрын
You left out the part where those other states actually prosecute misdemeanor theft. Let’s get some perspective before we jump on only 38 states

Making excuses and obtusely and seemingly willfully blind to the reality of what is happening before your very eyes is difficult to comprehend for most people. Please enlighten those of us who don't understand what you hope to achieve by discouraging others from observing the reality of what is happening to our country and society in general? What is there to gain by listing the dollar amounts that constitute felony charges state by state, while totally ignoring the other much larger and more consequential factors that affect what is happening and the changes that have resulted. Should nothing be done? Should California be celebrated as a perfectly governed state with no concern of rapid rising crime rates? Just pretend that things are going great and if questioned just arbitrarily mention specific codes of conduct within other states?
@jennybugsification13Ай бұрын
@kevinjogoo8730 dude, you're in Africa.. not even the same continent. The things America says about your whole continent make California look like Eden 😅. The prosecution rate for misdemeanors in California is higher than 38 other states in America. Yes, get some perspective.

They are doing that to Ralphs in West Hollywood….honestly I feel it’s to only have to lock up one whole area instead of different places that would need to be locked up…some isles have locked cages in with items that aren’t locked up….and this particular Ralphs is small and now even feels smaller….I will check it out once it is all set and it will be nice to see that area cleaned and stocked…..😊and the items aren’t in cages ….just a big locked in cell….
