I am from Pattoki. I am very happy to hear this old woman. My grandfather had migrated from Ferozepur city to Pattoki. My house is very close to Pattoki railway station. Watching this interview reminded me of my grandmother who used to say the same partition stories. It is God's will that He take her where and bring us here .

hi its feel really really good to hear abut my grand mother's home. next to the mosque near to imam bara. that mosque is "Purani choki wali masjid" your home was re-build because the building was destroyed. Karam bib was died but her 2 daughter are there. the streets are same. market and govt high boys school is the same. girls high school became college now. bus terminal shifted next to the graveyard. and let me tell you interesting thing. i live in lahore. the famous quote "Jine Lahore ni wekhya o jamaya nai" is still renowned with the same excitement. and in my next visit to my grand mother's home chunia I will be sending you the video of your home, market, mosque and all that. bless you my dear elder.

I am Naeem Shaukat and have been living in Gali Dhona Wali, Main Bazar, Purani Chowki, Chunian near Ms. Satyavati Khanna (Choppra)'s house. My forefathers were also Hindus, but My grandfather namely Ameer Din, Late (Islami name) had accepted the Islam (AL HUM DU LILLAH) on the advise of their well wishers and preferred to stay in Chunian. They belong to Khattri Cast. After partition till now people know us as Khatrri (Dhon Jutt). The name of my Real Taya Jaan was Khushi Raam but after accepting Islam his name was replaced with Khushi Muhammad.
