I'm a lifelong SARCO fan and bought almost all the kits they had, Just got a BREN and love it, and feel bad for the blokes that had to carry it, it's not a Light Machine Gun by any means. Love the MP44 video.

Proud owner of a 1927 A-1 Tbompson 45 ACP. Chicago Typewriter with a 16" finned barrel Noticed yours has a separate forward receiver piece in which a 10" barrel is screwed into the "true" mark. I have a 10" finned barrel I'm looking to interchange for the factory 16". Would love to buy the forward receiver piece.

In the 1928 A1 model, the nose is separate from the receiver. Both ends are irregular as if the nose was broken off from the receiver.

This is a demilled kit and the pieces are probably almost never all matching in these.

Bob bowman had some amazing m1a1 kits in 2020, I got mine for a decent deal. The metal on the receivers are a pain to weld like you said.

Very cool. Thanks for showing this. Any idea how similar this parts kit is to the current production 1927 models? Would the full auto frame, furniture, and trigger parts be able to mate up and function with a current production simiauto receiver and bolt assemblies? Not for the purpose of converting the new model to select fire, but for giving it some character.

I don't believe any of the parts will work for that very reason.
