I might even develop the nerve to do something big on one of my guitars! Well, eventually I will. For now, I have purchased some copper foil tape for my Telecaster, so I will start out with that! 😁 Thanks again, my friend!

I bought one from The Painted Player…they make replicas of the iconic guitars WHSE love…including this one. My next one is to get a Pete Townshend LP Custom has two switches added plus extra knobs for the addition of the new pickup in the middle (super distortion. I bought a LP with two mini humbug keys but c nicked out after I saw everything involved in making one…back to TPP and saving up for it!

How is that bridge holding in sustain and tone from abm, are you enjoying it? Is it worth the money? Thanks!
@MichaelLagerstedt
@MichaelLagerstedt Жыл бұрын
Hi Marco. I’m enjoying the guitar and as a part of that the bridge. It’s super well made and hand crafted. High quality. Like German cars. Pretty expensive but still less than for instance Mastry bridge and vibrato. I feel I can recommend this bridge. Thanks so much for watching and commenting 😃🙏🏻
@fenson6738
@fenson6738 Жыл бұрын
Considering what I was talking about last time, you don't have ground issue because you didn't mount the pickup on the bridge but directly in the wood. So all you have to do to be sure that any issue can occur is that the pickup baseplate don't touch anything that is grounded. 4:38 It's weird. You shouldn't have any noises when touching the pickup cover , even if the pickguard shielding is not correctly grounded. There's an issue somewhere, you should check the pickup wiring.
@MichaelLagerstedt
@MichaelLagerstedt Жыл бұрын
Hi Fenson It’s great advice… I’ll try to check that out 😃👍
@MichaelLagerstedt
@MichaelLagerstedt Жыл бұрын
Hi Fenson You were very right on the pickup wiring. I tried different things and it turned out that I had to redo some of the wiring for the neck pickup and that also solved the noise issue. Thanks again for your great input and advice 🙏🏻😃 Mic

what is the sponge under the pick up for?
@MichaelLagerstedt
@MichaelLagerstedt Жыл бұрын
Good question. It was actually to push the pickup up so I would be able to control the hight with the screws that are going into the body, but turns out that it also isolates the bottom plate of the pickup from the shielding paint. and by the way thanks for watching 😉🙏🏻
