As a KENYAN, let me say this. Elections take place at the POLLING UNIT, period. Transmission is not important, maybe argue about VERIFICATION, let the various party agents verify whatever has been presented at the National tallying centre, by now they should have their own tally, if at all they had agents at the POLLING UNITS.

The results were proposed to be transmitted electronically using the BVAS machine directly on the commission's online portal before declaration by the commission. The ruling party has in connivance with the commission manipulated the results in order to declare them winner which in no way reflected the outcome of election.

They knew that unlike Abiola, who was a candidate of a segment of the elite that were just tired of military rule, and who carried lots of baggages that didn't resonate well with many ordinary people on the streets across the country, the Obi-Datti ticket was a more national revolutionary movement of street people, which would make it difficult to suppress.
