Samson is so good at identifying the give and take of what is happening on court. Brook losing minutes due to his defense, so pacers make him more essential to their offense. Always on top of the relationship between crashing and tilting defense to take away action out of ball screens. Every time I listen to him speak, he identifies a new chain reaction that I haven't thought of. Hope you two can keep working together for a long time. It feels like Caitlin has found the perfect partner to bounce ideas off of.

As a bucks fan, I like listening to the other side at times. As much as all of our injuries have changed the excitement of the series for me and the fan base, it's kind of cool too think about how this pacers team will look against a healthy contender if they make it that far. It will teach the most about their schemes, as we've been kinda a bad educational experience as one of those teams built around one player. Anywho, I like your stuff, Caitlin. Aprechiate the raw and real in game discussion.

Caitlin Cooper's KZbin channel only having 460 subscribers is a crime.

Hahah, thanks. To be fair, it has only been public for roughly the last week. The other stuff on here is just old clips that were embedded into articles several years ago at Indy Cornrows. Everything else for Patreon has been unlisted. So, from that perspective, very glad for the 400+ that have joined up. And also, your very kind words.

I'd like to hear Caitlin's honest opinion on how she feels about the choice to get Pascal. If we could have gotten OG for Brown, Nembhard, with a Jackson or Smith with picks. What she believes would have been best. I wouldn't have given Mathurin or Obi.. But I feel they could have pushed a stronger offer and gotten OG.. Imo he would have been a perfect plug and play into our already #1 Offense and we wouldn't have struggled after the trade. Only improved and added real defensive wing strength with what we needed the most.. Giving up Brown and getting no SF in return is wild. When already short in SF play.. Never added another in FA than Brown.. Then Walker proved he could finally play valuable minutes and is the perfect size for SF. Could have played him since after All-Star. Seen him play against/guard guy's like Middleton before ever getting to the playoffs. He was specifically drafted for his Defensive reads and yet they don't play him at all.. but will play Sheppard lol.. smh.. team is rough in transition and no shooting now..

When I listened to Ty, it appeared to me that he absolutely knew, knew, knew that he was going to make that shot. His brain willed it to happen no matter what! It was dreamy, LOL! Was that an exciting game or what! No doubt their 3 point shooting needs to take a turn back to what it was...confident it will for Sunday. 😄 I can't talk basketball with the knowledge that Caitlin and Samson can and do, but I sure enjoy being a listener!

It's almost as if they'd had another or actual SF they could play. Especially now with Mathurin out, no Brown and no Hield. Maybe Nesmith could focus on being a SG. Instead of asking him to be a SF and the main defender to guard all team's best shooter's... Not gonna play Sheppard enough and Nembhard isn't a knockdown shooter, or a good enough/big enough defender for certain matchups. Nesmith is probably the best shooter. They don't use him like he is unless he's open in the corner.. They could run some screens for him to come off of for a 3 like he did in college.. But they should have been using Walker in the SF role.. I said in the off-season they should have signed Derrick Jones Jr. or Kelly Oubre Jr... They'd both been great for our team's style. But they did nothing but pay Brown. Only to move him for the position we didn't need and turned a fast pace and space team into a team with no shooting and a halft-court team.. Tyrese has to be miserable.. Not being able to get out and run and no way to use his vision to push the ball.. Limits him and takes away from what Hali's best game could be.. Pascal won't be around once this team is truly ready to contend in 2 or 3 years.. made no sense to add Pascal. Doesn't fit our timeline and I feel Obi makes more sense for our style and for what he could have become for us during his development. His defense has improved and as he keeps getting better there. He'd be far more valuable then Pascal sooner than later anyways.. then we just drafted Walker.. so frustrating. I don't think adding Pascal does anything to move us and our young player's in the right direction. Then having to pay him a max seems crazy to me. He's someone who always has to be played to.. Holds the ball too long and doesn't shoot 3's well enough for me.

We win that Bulls game if Obi tips it into the back court instead of out of bounds.

It is undoubtedly fun to watch the Pacers win playoff games, but you have to keep in mind the level of team they’re doing this against. We have to be honest with ourselves, this Bucks team without Giannis is equivalent to a team like the Bulls or Hawks; fine, but ultimately mediocre. I mean, he’s an MVP-caliber player. Would the Nuggets beat us without Jokic? The Mavs without Doncic? Now, yes, enjoy these wins, but just don’t forget the context in which they happen. Take a look at the 2021 Hawks as an example of what can happen to a team after what most would call a somewhat flukey playoff run. The front office start to overrate the players on the roster a little bit, and then they get complacent instead of aggressively trying to improve a flawed roster, they blame the coach, and then the team stalls out in the tier below the true contenders. The Pacers are a young team and they will get better, but just keep some perspective about where they’re at right now and let’s see what they prove going forward.

Horrible take put some damn respect on Dame $ and Middleton they would be a playoff team still.Hawks without Young and Mavs without Doncic aren’t in the playoffs.

Totally with you on being fearful of the fo overrating this run and limiting flexibility in the future though. Hopefully this continues to be a slow build

Coop do u know what hot girl actually means??? 😊
@caitlincooper21258 ай бұрын
The spirit of hot girl basketball from the early portion of the season was winning games with the offense as a self-contained, unstoppable machine in spite of terrible defense (i.e. basically every game against the Hawks)
