Thanks Ron. It's been fun. Technology today can really make you a one man band. Harmonies, drummer, etc. . .Just played a gig last week at a ski resort. Dining hall was packed. Was a lot of fun.

@@ppalm951 You're welcome. Been binge-watching open mic tips latey, as well as TC Helicon Play Acoustic tutorials, LOL, as I'm getting a few songs ready to perform at an open mic in the near future...It was fun to see your first video from 9 years ago (which was good!) and then to see that you're still pugging away, making music. I don't currently have the Alesis SR-16 but I used it a ton when I led worship at camps way back in the 90s. You're right - the sounds are really good for an old drum machine. Anyhoo - nice work.

Sounds great! Do you have all your rum tracks pre-setup? how do you trigger?

Thanks. I'm using an Alesis SR-16 drum machine. No 'tracks'. These are basically real time. Can run 2 pedals 1) START/STOP 2) Can switch between 2 different drum patterns (of your own choosing). I typically have 1 pattern for verses (basic snare/bass/high hat) and another for chorus (snare /bass/ride cymbal). It allows you to change dynamics of each song. Low key for verses and bring it up a notch for chorus. I actually bought an SR-18, newer version, but I didn't really like the drum sounds it provided. So I continue to use my trusty old SR-16. Still kicking (it's about 30 y/o technology, but until something better comes along. . . . .)

@@ppalm951 thanks so much. Curious if it will start via midi and send/receive timing to a looper like a Boss RC600? I JUST bought a beat buddy that (now that I heard what you said) does similar w verse/chorus. I bought the additional 2 button pedal that allows you to add symbols and freeze the loop/drums for a measure and then continue. With a midi cable I have seen it be synced with loops. I very much like how you did all those songs transition fills and everything…sounded natural. Isn’t it amazing how when you decide to do it all yourself you really become hyper aware of all the segments and transitions of songs! Really appreciate the old band mates. Thanks so much for your kind sharing
