I'm still holding out hope for, "DnD: But Everyone is a Flumph." I really want to see the alternate universe where the Oxies play 7 HP, lawful good, color-changing marshmallows trying to save the world.

I loved when the Oxventures first met the Flumphs. I think the video where they induce the Flumphs shows the fight to be kind vs chaos would have to be an alternate universe as you stated. My 1st time I ran d&d I put them in. I made them curious, my brother attacked, my mom healed & befriended.

Flumphs are my absolute favorite D&D creature. If I could make any creature from D&D real, it would be Flumphs. Everyone would have their own companion Flumph. And Flumphs are telepathic, so they'd instantly inform each other whenever anyone needed help. And you could tell someone's mood from the color of their Flumph. It'd be great.

It took me longer than I expected, too, and came with additional costs that I didn't see coming, even after adding an additional $200 a month for unexpected costs. I didn't find my current apartment on the big apartment sites, I had to go to it in person. Checking the individual sites of each apartment complex also helps. The economy isn't in a great place right now. Not just in my country, it seems to be a struggle in a lot of Western countries. If you can, try to find a better paying job. If you're living with your parents instead of roommates, figure out what you could afford to pay and practice "paying rent" by taking that money and putting it into savings. I only realized after I moved out how much I spent needlessly and just how much I could have been saving

This has been a really fun one! Jasper has perfect Oxventure energy, and I'm really hoping for more side-games like this in future. Has anyone on the team looked at what LionWing has on offer? They localized Japanese tabletop games, many of which are video game adjacent. I've seen a couple (including a Dark Souls-inspired and another that's sort of Persona meets Yakuza) that I imagine some of the Oxventurers might enjoy test driving.

This is a fun story, but it's kind of weird that they put the character creation behind a paywall... It just gives me a feeling like I'm missing some random context, but doesn't really motivative me to want to pay for it. If they put additional story with established characters behind a paywall, I'd feel more curious to check it out. I'm a big fan of Oxventure, just a bit confused by this decision.

Seriously, I know it's a thing and all, and maybe I'm just not cool enough to get it but what's up with the hatred for people with money?
@nixi76884 ай бұрын
Cos generally speaking, they got it by exploitation. They don't necessarily work harder than anyone else but they do profit from other people's labour while giving the bare minimum. Also they horde, they could solve multiple problems but choose not to and have a disproportionate amount of influence. Not to say all rich people are bad people, but since getting rich involves exploiting others, that takes a certain lack of empathy.
@nihonluv47154 ай бұрын
@nixi7688 I'm notbsure how you define exploitation but I know this isn't the space for this convo so I won't ask for sources or anything, I'll assume there's evidence of exploitation and look it up. As for how they use their money, I think we could also apply that standard to ourselves. As someone who works with several non-profits, there's plenty of things average wage earners could solve if we spent less on luxuries and contributed more to certain causes. But I have a better understanding of the reasons behind the disdain now, I genuinely appreciate it.
