It’s crazy how I use to watch this show religiously on PBS as a kid. (Didn’t have cable as a kid) All around this time I loved TV as a kid around 7/8 years older. I started watching Pokémon, Zoboomafoo, and they’re was all my favorite shows at that time. (Man, I miss these times)

Oh man, this stuff really brings back some memories. Watched a few seasons when I was like 8/9 from 1999-2002 or 2003, loved zoom, I used to watch everyday when I got back from school.

I'm 60 years old and I loved watching this as an adult. I was 35 when the final season aired. Growing up, we had Sesame Street, the Electric Company, Mister Rogers Neighborhood and the Mickey Mouse Club. My favorite Mouseketeer was Lisa Welchel, who went on to star in the show, the Facts of Life. ZOOM reminded me a lot of the Mickey Mouse Club. Believe it or not, I loved the cooking segments and got some of my favorite party appetizers : ( mini taco salads) and home-made peanut butter cups, from watching ZOOM. I wish this show was still on. I enjoyed it and many children these days need fun and exciting things to create and do. Staring at a phone screen for hours on end, has severely crippled our kids. They don't know how to socialize, form close relationships of any kind, or learn how to work and play as part of a team. Bring back shows like this......pleeease !!!🫣

Same here. This of course was when tv was fun to watch, now it’s just garbage. They should reboot the show, and show kids today what fun is about. It’s not just about being on your phone looking at Facebook or Twitter, it’s about playing fun games, doing cool experiments, trying new recipes, and expressing yourself

A Zoom reboot would be awesome today! They could teach kids how to do fun and crafty things. So many kids just get handed an ipad and never learn to make crafts and play non-video games with their friends, which really is not their fault. My sisters and I had so much fun making the crafts and foods! It would be cool to see a reboot soon.

Actually there was an original version that came on in the 70s. I think this was either the 2nd or 3rd version. I am 62 yrs old. I used to watch it when I was 10. I had one of my jokes read on the show and I was hoping to audition. Never got the chance. Zoom, Mad Magazine and Dine and Dash (That's 70s Show) were popular during the 70s. I’ll never forget this show… when I would get home from school I would always be alone for about 30 minutes and it would be enough time to watch Zoom before my parents got home and made me do homework. One day I get home and both my parents are already home and watching the news. I kept asking my mom to put on Zoom and she kept saying no over and over again until I finally said “that’s not fair! You watch the news all the time!”. She got a little frustrated and said “I’m telling you, you literally can’t” and flipped through every channel we had on TV. That’s how I witnessed the plane fly into the twin towers on 9/11 over and over and over again because every time my mom flipped the channel to show me it was all news, they all just happened to be showing the same clip over and over. Yay childhood! 😃

Another great show depending on how old your kids are is Hi-5. It's like an Australian version of Zoom. It never aired in America but it's easy to find on KZbin. There's an American version too but it's not as good.

When Alisa said sherbert, it reminded me of my Aunt Judi’s job as a waitress, you see, what this has to do with the subject with Alisa is my mom told me and my sister one time our aunt who is our mom’s older sister took these people’s order and I’m of them asked, “Do you have sherbert?” and my Aunt Judi said, “Sherbet! No.” Since, that is how it is spelled and pronounced and my Aunt Judi corrects people a lot. Well that’s the end.
