For germinating, other brands of jars come with different size screen lids to accommodate different sized seeds.

For the sprouting: pour one-two tablespoons into the jar and cover with water. Let it sit there for a few hours (3-6) and then rinse the water. During the following days, fill the jar with water and rinse it immediately after about once or twice a day. Alfalfa are usually ready in about five days :)

hey I saw the title germinator and was interested, i am a vegan and i sprout just about everything, lentils, rice, beans, the only thing you really have to do is wet the seeds and then leave them in a jar or bowl covered, and every now and then sprinkle them with some water so they always stay wet, after about 2 days they will start to sprout, rinse them well, and you can either cook them or eat them as they are :)

Squirrels make that noise when they’re warning others there’s a threat. I’ve got one continuously doing that outside my house lol. First time it happened was when a pigeon got attacked by a larger bird of prey.

Hi Niomi! A tip for the germinator: Soak the seed for around 2-4 hours (depends on the seeds) and then rinse them in the glas. They will be much bigger after soaking and can't escape. ;-) Only use one tbsp of alfafa because they're getting really huge! You will have a lot of sprouds! I love having my own sprouds and I have many different seeds to sproud at home. Greetings from germany! Have a nice day. :-)

I love your all your videos and your healthy lifestyle. Would like to suggest you how to get sprouting done easily without any hassles. Though this is a very traditional Indian way of doing it but trust me its quiet easy and quick too. Soak the grains in the water in the morning of day prior to making the sprout. They slightly get bigger in size by night time. At night, drain off all the water and tie the grains in a muslin cloth or a kitchen towel and keep it at a warm place (Since its very cold in London better to keep in the preheated microwave for warmth. Just preheat the microwave for 10 seconds, switch off and keep the grains in it). You can get sprouts by next morning and still if you don't get the sprout you can keep them for some more time. It might smell a bit so better to wash the grains thoroughly and then they are good to use in the salads. Hope this helps :)
