This is a wonderful piece, presented beautifully by New York City Ballet dancers of an earlier generation. Heather Watts has such lovely ballon. Another childhood favorite! Thanks for uploading this!

I've always admired Heather Watts in the more modern works, such as Agon, The Cage, Calcium Light Night etc. Here this consummate artist shows she was equally at home in Romantic tutu ballets. Brilliant. Thank you for posting.

Bournonville choreography with modern artists with great technique just shows how great it was. I can't imagine he saw such sparkle in his lifetime; but here his creative dream can come true.

As breathtaking as she-maverick Linda Heather Watts is--proving why she was one of City Ballet's greatest---see, she wasn't just famous for her antics. Helgi Tomasson more than holds his own here. When he gets his few seconds in the spotlight, he equals her. See, men belong in ballet just as much. It's been said her best partners were Jock Soto and Martins. I've heard some stories about the electrifying Heather Watts. She's outspoken about her life, life in general, her colleagues and the ballet world itself. She's not just dainty, lovely. She's a devil-may-care wild-childishness about her. Such personality. Helgi himself has that graceful macho bravado without question. But as always the case, it's the ballerina's show.
