One of my favourite songs of all time. Turns out I'm a writer now. This is one of those songs that said "hey - you can try - no promises, but you can try". (Oh, and those Hollywood meeting peeps - fake. Stay true to yourself.) The imbalance between rich and poor is even more pronounced now. The Bran Van 3000 writers did good. Thanks for warning me as a teenager that not every one is as they seem. And to still make stuff happen!
