@MMKLproductions this show has no real plot, it is a song cycle showing the lives and struggles of several different types of people. There is the person who is completely terrified of finding love, and there is the sisters growing apart, the best guy friends discussing their meaning of the best day ever, the songs they sing together represent something most people have in common, a fear of being one's self and the final discovery that you are perfect the way you are. this is a wonderful show!

There are only four characters in edges and they all have intertwining stories that eventually link back to their original introduction in the beginning. but I see it as Pasek and Paul wrote some kick ass songs about just about every situation a person can deal with and just decided to write it into a giant song cycle. unlike in SFANW they arent anyone in particular though, they are just everyday people that you might see walking down the street.
