This is the most outrageous judging I've seen in gymnastics - so many deductions from landings to those dreadful legs. It's an injustice that Hong didn't get the gold which she truly deserved.

I think Maria was over scored. Not massively like some people are saying but she was over scored. She probably should have came 3rd. That's what I think but I'm not a judge. No hate meant to Maria, she is a great gymnast anyway!

Dont blame the judges, blame the COP. 0.3 for the leg separation, maybe 0,2 or 0,3 for bent knees more 0,1 or 0,2 for the step. Its the only deductions she had

She has massive difficulty in Beam and Floor than Paseka. Paseka is basically a specialist who devotes more of her time on vault. Paseka should be ashamed because while Biles is not a specialist she has even better form on her vault. Russian stans are crazy and don't even think jeez

Tbh, for everyone saying Simone should've won - Yes, she had great form, but, you can't forget her second vault made her start score .8 lower than Paseka and Hong, Paseka's form wasn't even bad, she probably got 0.3 for sep. on the table, 0.1 for form and 0.1 or 0.3 for steps which is about .7 in deductions...

I think audiences prefer clean vaults to (incredibly) sloppy ones - regardless of difficulty awarded. Extreme leg separations followed by crossed legs and flexed feet doesn't even look like gymnastics.
