I realized after watching your video that when I attached the nozzle to the fuel cell I didn’t turn all the way until it was seated properly. The symptoms were the same, intermittent firing. I made a simple machine complicated. Thanks again

Many thanks , not sure i'm dead keen on your style but after taking my 13 year old im65 in to fix an intermittent problem an the service place telling me they couldn't find a problem and that they thought it might be the firmahold gas !! I watched your video and i think its the worn cover or pins that push the cover , i need to give the gun a good testing when i get chance but it's looking good , so again many thanks 👍

@@MotherAlgorithm For me it turned out to be the firmahold gas i was using , went back to new paslode gas and it was fine .

I figured out the problem with mine, there was a nick in the spark plug wire that when assembled was arcing to the fan body. Was driving me nuts because when disassembled the fan was working, the spark was working fine, however when back together the spark was jumping out of the wire. Bit of heat shrink fixed it.

Nailing pheasants back together can be very messy, especially if it's still alive. I always check the fuel inlet for pheasant droppings, because if they get inside and hit the fan...

I tried using my thumb to push the gas in but it didn’t seem to help. The gun did nothing. When I take the right angle adapter off the cell and depress the tip of the gas cell I hear it coming out, but when the right angle adapter is on the fuel cell and I depress the tip of it I hear nothing. Is that normal? Does the right angle restrict the flow THAT much ?

Are all the same parts inside a framing nailer? Cause that dinky little thing is not what I have.

Would it be alright to spray that dirty area with something like brake cleaner to clean it up? Seems kind of oily so that little brush is going to just smear it around.

I blasted mine with auto parts cleaner spray and let it thoroughly dry out, and it worked great.
