I still can't believe he is gone (Harlan that is). Such an amazing talent and human being. Thank you for posting this wonderful discussion.

12-22-15..Please do say a little prayer for a wonderful friend, extraordinary soul and brilliant writer, George Clayton Johnson. He has penned many original Twilight Zone episodes that are near and dear to my heart, and probably a part of yours too, like Kick the Can, Nothing in the Dark, A Game of Pool and The Four of Us Are Dying. Brilliant and timeless stories. He also wrote Ocean's 11, the original story and Logan's Run. I am sorry to say that he has Cancer and his crystal is blinking at 86 years young. He is in hospice and has a matter of perhaps days to stay on this mudball with us. Thank you George for all the laughter, mischievous adventures and the love. But most of all, thank you for all the stories, the made up ones and the truths that you have shared with me and everyone fortunate enough to call you friend. May you go in love and beautiful lights of wondrous colors..

Harlan is truly a great ranter and story teller. he is a true curmudgeon with a very creative kick. Hope me makes a good transition. I understand he is fighting to come back from a couple of recent strokes.

Also, Death by rain was renamed as The Long Rain, not Fahrenheit 451. A slip of the tongue by Harlan, i'd imagine.

Is that a miniature recording device sitting on the table?
@StevenPaulLeiva8 жыл бұрын
+Paul Gibbons -- I have no idea. Possibly it's Harlan's phone.

Doesn't look like a phone. I was wondering if the audio from that recorder could be obtained and synced with this video for better quality than the on-camera mic we're listening to now.

+Paul Gibbons I have no idea. But it occures to me that it may be a device put there by the library. But I wouldn't know who to contact about that.
