My daddy is 93 years old and has been a Pentecostal Holiness minister for 71 years. I grew up listening to this very music in the churches he pastored and I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to see young people carrying on this beautiful tradition. How I love Fanny Crosby’s Hymns. I have to sing along. In the earlier part of the 1800’s, she was cited as the best musician in the country. That is why she had her Hymns set to music by other people. She thought that her tunes would be too sophisticated. I read a biography of her by a gentleman who had graduated from Bowdoin College. Much recommended. Tune by William Doane as many were.

I really like this more and more, with the sky-blue matching dresses, the harmonies, the way the instruments and vocals work together. Is that Alex off to the left on bass?
