Pass side remote cable mirror removal box Chevy caprice/impala

This video I show you how to remove the pass side remote mirror in a Chevy caprice. I searched online and couldn’t find a video for reference so I decided to film me taking mine out for paint. If you don’t remove it you will have dry spray behind your mirror and we can’t have that LOL.

Thanks for this video! I’m getting ready to do this job soon on my Brougham LS and was wondering how to get the remote knob out. It will be cool to see your project completed. I was going to build a lay and play lowrider myself but have since switched gears.

@@cappafpv I’m going for more of a performance build now I think, at least on my LS. It’s just too clean to cut. I’ve got a Brougham that was my original project car but it needs more body work than I have time for right now. I was contemplating selling it but I think after seeing your channel I may throw it in storage until I have the time to give it the proper love it needs.

Can someone do the same reinstalling the mirror for some reason when I reinstall everything back again the adjustment it’s not sincronizar

When ever I get the cable back in I will but I may be a min. If it’s not correct then maybe it’s bound up or turned a little bit back in the holder. I would make sure the cable isn’t being bent and flows good or best you can get it.

Do you know where I can get two of these mirrors with cables? even if the mirror is broken as long as the mechanism works, that's what I need, with these long cables and sticks on the ends. It would be a huge help if you knew, thank you!
