It can be a great way to track clicks on landing pages. For example: If you launch a newsletter campaign and want to track how many people click a certain CTA button on that landing page. You can now get that data in your Google Analytics.

Not so simple for adding params to the link when using Grid Loop templates. All I can link to is the 'Post URL'.. no way to append the string to the end :(

Hello! Grand Tutorial. I'm running into an issue where it seems to work fine when logged into WP. However when not logged in as for users the parameters aren't passed. I just get a return like this. "?" Any idea why this might be?

I'm having a similar issue. When logged in, it submits just fine and I'm able to pass the parameters onto the next page. When logged out, however, it just reloads the page. No errors whatsoever

Why would that way be better than just adding the link with the utm included?

This way works more dynamically. For example, if you send out multiple newsletters to the same landing page, you can now figure out which newsletter people came from when they click on a certain button.
