Hello I have a passat b6 with ACC radar on powertrain. I tried to retrofit 7n0 gateway but I get front assist and ACC cruise control faults. Do I need to disable ext can on gateway as my ACC is on Powertrain/relay?

The B7 with a diesel engine and auxilary heating installed has 18 in the installation list. I have one myself and had to check 18 when switching to 7N0 BR. I had a 1K0 (7N0 GW before). Which Camera is installed in your passat at the moment ? Do you have 3AA, 3Q0 or even already 2Q0 ?

I think in my case because is from a 2014 B7 the climatronic box is probably different from some models,if is added aux heating i get module not found so is probably ecu controled in my case. camera is 3AA now because i didn't wanted to make a custom bracket. still have 3Q camera waiting to go in my cc 2011. thats next project. for health reasons i had to stop for a bit.

Update: fitted 3q camera since few months now and is better than the 3AA . Really good choice.

How do do u know where u wire the clock to on the B6 illumination and power i can do just don't know where the wire goes to change the time on clock

I have Passat B6 and I bought the cluster instrument of Passat CC 2010, I didn’t start the replacement yet i want to know is it plug and play or it needs more modifications which only workshop can do ?

If you have 2005-2007 cluster, the plug is different, you need an adapter and the can gateway upgrade to a 2008-2010 cc or b6

in the past I had a b6 and had to change the newer gateway because of GPS RNS 510 initially I had MFD2

I tried retrofitting xenons in my passat b6 bought the cables that are plug and play but now I don’t have high beams only dipped beams any idea?

If you bought aliexpress kit pin 14 on headlights is ground and you need to add the pin in the connector and connect to ground. Cecm needs coding to be E version at least and coded to xenons. Need to run the wire to rear level sensor as well.

I have a 2013 Passat CC and i installed a MQB Steering wheel similiar to yours, but i cant get the steering wheels buttons to work. Paddle shifts works just fine, bu nothing from the buttons, how did you got them to work?

Look at the buttons on the wheel, make sure is the same layout. They are 2 kinds

Hello. Do You know Why in my Passat 2011 comfortline I dont have phone menu on MFD? I have rns 315 and I turned on Bluetooth via vcds. Everything Works fine but that Phone menu is not shown :/

Maybe not coded. Go to gateway with vcds and see installation list, add telephone if is not selected.

Hi, very good videos, i install ops in a b6 with red mfd, and i change the gateway module also because the old dont have module 10, now i am having a error with elv, steering columm does not lock, in can gateway in have 1 error from the elv, do i have to replace something else? @@carrep1975videos make sure is coded correctly, also your elv can be faulty, might be a coincidence or you did not coded the gateway correctly

Well, you need to code the battery regulator after you add to installation list.

see if you have anything missing in the instalation list, or any errors in the module. might be lucky to come from same spec car but still have to check coding.

He started to get very light steering and lock the gear in one gear. an error appears with a spanner symbol. when the mechanic uses the scanner it shows solenoid sometimes it shows acc. do you have any ideas friend? thanks afonso

Go to abs module and see what faults you have. How did you get the faults, how it happened? Surely something happened to get the faults, maybe you disconnected battery and it just needs basic settings?

What do you mean CPU? Maybe ECU or CCM , if that’s the case then you need to pair it. Get a experienced person to do it I suggest.
