Never knew Lancia had different livery then Martini, Totip & Q8-Oil here in this footage we can clearly admire (from 23:05) a Lancia -037 in a beautiful red + yellow MOMO livery.. ( silly me at first i thought is a Ferrari because in Italy the team Micheloto try the 288 GTO and 308 GTB on few stages..)

Brilliant stuff!! Back in the day we only got to see 10 or 15 mins of highlights of the wrc here in the UK, usually messed up with irritating commentary, so seeing such excellent footage of GrB is fantastic! And it's the first time I've ever seen the Citroen BX 4 TC in action!! This era of rallying will never be surpassed!!

I was 6 years old. My father took me to see this amazing machine's 🤩 from up close. Sad that the hydropneumatic suspension of the Citroens couldn't manage the punishing roads of Acropolis. The quality of the video is amazing after 40 years 😮 🏁🇬🇷🏁

SS Loukissia-Platanaki. A classic stage at the time, passing through the village, usually run twice (second runnning in the opposite direction during the last leg) and always gathering big crowds and photographers. Sadly no longer used.

This was the last time we saw the failed but very interesting Citroën BX 4TC in rallying. The car that Citroën wanted to forget... But i would dare to say it somehow helped Citroën to prepare for a proper WRC entry in the late 90's with the Xsara, this time they would come back victorious! 🙃

As I've said in another video, this footage is excellent, good job in putting it into KZbin. Actually the PAL 480p50Hz is a godsend from the past, particularly when videogames adopted 30 FPS as a norm, making everything feel like a slideshow. Here is fluid footage from the 80s! It's so cool to experience 80s rally vicariously through these videos. Truly I can't thank you enough for the authenticity of all these.

Historical footage. Better would only be possible if Audi and Austin Rover were still competing and Renault would have brought a couple of 5 Maxi Turbos. What were the most insane rallyes in 86, in your opinion, regarding line ups? (cars AND pilots). Maybe the 85 RAC could be considered.

Ambos trazados eran naturales, el que tomo el Opel Manta, era el más fácil y más largo y el que usó el Audi, el más corto y mas peligroso para las suspensiones. Ambos pilotos obraron razonablemente bien, ya que este tramo era muy estrecho y con grandes dificultades para adelantar.
