This video really made me fall for this song. I am fascinated by Passcode and I can't quite say why. I've been down the Japanese rock and metal rabbit hole for nearly 2 years now. The culture is so beautiful and interesting. Often things don't translate well. Passcode is just different. Everything from the vocal effects to the anonymous backing band, to choreographed dancing - these are all things I would normally object to. Yet, taken all together it all seems to work and I don't know why. So I keep listening trying to figure it out. The more I listen, the less I care why it works. I just accept that it does. 😅
