Technically 2 voices. Haha. Two peoples voices, but multiple voices. It's not actually live, obviously. They're just lip syncing to produced studio vocals, and you can hear layered tracks at times. For example at 4:06 it's like there's more than 2 guys singing. Probably the easiest example to hear is Ed harmonizing in his higher head voice, and at the same time you hear him say "go" in his lower talking register as if there's clones of Ed singing at the same time. Hence, it's technically 2 people singing but not only 2 individual vocals.

I´m not sure it´s the ultimate form of love, but the ultimate form of respect, because you love her. If you love her and it´s not working or she doesn´t love you, then you have to respect that. Letting her go can be the ultimate form of loving yourself though. Although you may love her, you may need to let her go in order to free yourself. All in all, it makes a classic song.

I had the privilege of seeing Passenger in Munich in 2013, playing to a small-ish crowd. In 2014, it was Ed Sheeran (also a 'smaller crowd'). Since then, these two have become absolute giants in the music scene. Glad you recorded this together! It was meant to be a duet like this. Beautiful!!!

To whoever reading this, I just wanna say it does get better. I've cried and cried again and again, yet I just can't seem to get her out my head. It's been a rough couples years in my life, I just can't seem to stop thinking about her. There doesn't go a day where I dont think about her. It's been killing me daily. And recently me and her broke up, Cut ties and just go silent. Yet, I see her every day in church. Gosh we both sometimes look at each other and when we do i see all the memories we made during our years together and around this time it would of been our one year officially together. We grew up family oriented and we've known each other since kids pretty much. It sucks to see her after all we've been through. We say we're gonna stay friends but it never felt the same since our break up. But life goes on and im sure shes better off without me and probably with someone better. I won't lie I only have one regret that I wish I could of done or said. I wished I could of said I loved you. Love is a big big word, yet when I think about love all I could think about is her and how loveable she was. So caring and charming. Im so glad I got to meet you and I dont regret anything I said or done cause I know were just kids but we learn from our mistakes. I am so glad you were the one to bring me to church. To finally meet God face to face. But God has different plans for us so I wish you the best and I pray that God lead the way for both of our lives from now on. Love you girl. You'll always have a special place in my heart dont forget you we're also my first love. I wish you could read all of this and know that it was me for everything back then. And im glad I was able to leave something in your heart. I was the one to make you believe in love again when you never had faith or have anymore love to give. You’re a great talent and although this is the song that opened the door to me listening to your music, you’re music goes so far beyond this one song. I , probably because I’m older, dug deeper once I heard Let her go. I listened to the whole album. Loved it . I listened to Wicked Man’s rest. Loved it . Listened to Flight of the Crow. Loved it. I bought all three CD’s and got them on iTunes. I’ve looked all through KZbin and found songs that have never been produced.

Ive always thought it was a very interesting fact that Mike knew Ed before he was famous, while Ed was still young and that they were friends even back then. Knowing that, this will be an incredible remaking of the original, I cant wait to hear it! Edit: just listened to the new version, it reminds me of my cat who passed away recently, the old version reminded me of a breakup, but this new version is much more personal to me. ❤️‍🔥
