And this figure is about MMR and NCR region and not just the cities. Same with Beijing and shanghai as well it’s not just about the demarcated city municipalities. Maharashtra gdp itself in nominal terms is 474 b how can mumbai alone be 60-70% of it. It doesn’t even make sense with so many big cities in Maharashtra like pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Solapur etc etc. But yes wealth concentration is high in mumbai but that alone cannot translate into those numbers for Mumbai gdp which is basically annual gross produce. Lot of that wealth is invested across India and abroad..
