O'Hare International Airport warned travelers to expect "substantial" traffic delays due to a protest blocking lanes on Kennedy Expressway (I-190).
The disruption forced many travelers to walk with their luggage in order to make it to their flights.

Why are these people allowed to block a major highway into an airport? The police should have arrived on scene and cleared the roadway. Everyone should have been arrested and they should have to pay restitution to the individuals and the airlines. Blocking a road is not a peaceful protest. A peaceful protest has to happen in a public space. Protesting is a protected act and it should be. Once you infringe on someone else’s rights it is no longer a peaceful protest
