This edition of John Nesbitt's "Passing Parade" one-reeler series [released to theaters on November 17th, 1945 by MGM Studios] features a murderer's row of classic newspaper cartoonists in action:

Great to see this on youtube that I can watch anytime. Forgot to include Daisy Mae of Lil Abner, who I wish IDW will continue to reprinting. Bud Fisher featured here with Mutt and Jeff actually stopped drawing the strip in 1933. I'd love to see more of these classic strip reprinted. Hopefully the current fed up with Wokeness will allow this and without any historical censorship that has affected other literary works over 100 to 60 years ago

I used to devour these back when I was a kid in the 1950 when they ran on NY's Channel 11; been wondering when they would begin popping up on YT. They generally had a very enlightened , progressive view of people and society, something you don't see a lot of today. (Then again you don't see theatrical shorts any more to begin with - back in they day they acompanied major film studio releases.
