Since the premier league's existence in 1993, it's had 5 winners, with 8 different runner-ups. The SPL has had 2 winners since 1992, with 5 different runner-ups. With regards to La Liga and Ligue 1, the quality of the football there equals an enjoyable league anyway, with more than half of their teams capable of handling themselves in Europe. We had two teams who are sometimes capable of handling themselves in Europe. That's all.
