Idk about everybody else, but all I know is when I listen to this song I feel the presence of God so strong. I can dance for the Joy of The Lord in my room. This song represent freedom. And worship music does NOT have to be old hymns and organs. I believe God is pleased when we use our talents and create music that we enjoy, whether modern or not. So what if Passion dropped some bass? That created so much energy. And the Mariachi guy was amazing! The mix of cultural influence in this song so evidently shows the love of God. The bible tell us to dance and shout and make "a joyful noise"!! We all worship in different ways. Being there on the floor when this happned at Passion 2013 has to be one of the biggest highlights of my life. Every time i watch this i remember what it was like being in a dome filled with 60,000 people dancing their faces off before the Lord to a song that we all have never heard before! That moment, something was unleashed, not just in me, or in everyone there, but into the atmosphere. The fire that lit up in that place that night is indescribable. I simply cannot wait till Heaven when Believers from every generation will forever praise the Lord together. This was but a small taste. Jesus, i pray you bring Heaven down to earth in moments like this for your glory to be magnified.

Only they who accept Christ - accepting salvation into eternal life/escape from eternal damnation - will be covered by His blood; whoever rejects Him has damned his soul already, and His condemnation is upon him. Fam, in all honesty, all I've written to you is the truth. It is wisdom if you open your heart to comprehend truth & not harden it because of a one - sided view/opinion/thought. God said that whomever is willing to seek Him will find Him. I came back to Christ around the time when I discovered this song. The first time I was saved was when I heard "secret ambition" by Michael Smith and it was powerful @ 4 am during spring break when I was 14 and a practicing wiccan, but I fell away. However as music changes, and my tastes change and being at a crossroads in my life again and begging for GOD to allow me to come back , I came across this song. I'm back with GOD for good now. I've noticed something that this song reinforces at the beginning. Christians prefer to stay in the emotional high that comes with the onset of salvation rather than the trek to spiritual maturity and trials that not only should be taken, but is commanded to be taken. It's not all about emotions, and thank goodness for that since our emotions can be all over the place. In fact, the hardships and trials will probably get us down, but the joy of Jesus is what gives us hope through all of it since trials are guaranteed to come.
