I absolutely loved this video! In the beginning somewhere I thought that the makers were trying to discourage people from following their dreams cuz nowadays it has become trendy to follow your "passion" for the sake of being cool. But the message towards the end of the video was so good and I totally agree with it. You should definitely do something in life that makes you happy cuz 'live only once'. But for that you need a proper financial plan to move forward in life. And believe me, even the coolest jobs are not as easy as you think and people work very hard to make them look so cool. Much needed video in today's time. Please, stress more on this topic, a major chunk of today's youth is suffering from this disease called "Show Off/Cool Factor/Being unique". Faking a trendy passion is one of the many symptoms of this disease. Partying, wearing cool, following ONLY the cool(GOT/Wolverine/Sherlock), uncommon behaviors (showing I am tough/I've got some attitude/I don't care) and hundreds of such things. When will we realize that nature itself is taking care of making us unique right from the birth? We just need to accept and be OK with slight uniqueness we possess right from the beginning of our life. Struggling ONLY to be unique/cool ignoring the realities will lead you nowhere but make you a shining moon with no light of its own. Better to be a remotely shining tiny star than being the brightly shining moon with leased light.

bhai mei previous generation ka hu. 2005 graduate. Luckily graduate hote hi naukri lag gayi and I went to Bangalore. Of course IT job. You won't believe, us time pe bhi DSLR and Bullet were the most wannabe things to do. There was a funny article at that time where someone had written that DSLR and Bullet cured male menopause. Cut to 2020, making new mobile apps and launching online startups are the new DSLRs and Bullets. Underlying phenomena is the same: following the herd mentality to try and look 'different' which is self-contradictory and hence a sure recipe to failure. Disclaimer: I have never owned a DSLR or a bike. I bought an Activa only when it was absolutely necessary, mostly to lug groceries from hypermalls to my apartment (of course rented. I am not a fool that I would buy into asset price bubble) :D

How can I give this a superlike ? This perfectly summarises the problem the youth is facing today. Doing weed cuz Steve jobs did too! But he was a genius, he was making transistors in 5-6th grads in the 60s ! It took him to a different headzone he didn't do it to listen edm? And get stoned. Leaving college cuz bill gates and zuckerberg did too. first of all they were in colleges like Stanford university and on top of that they were masters of their craft too. First become like Steve, bill and mark and then follow your passion. The way that guy explains that following passion requires hardwork and discipline too made me so happy. Cuz people only see the part that they like. In rockstar he didn't become rockstar by singing kun faya kun. He first loved someone more than he loved anything. He watched it getting away. Then his life felt meaningless. He didn't become rockstar by acting like an angry frustrated person. He became rockstar cuz it hurt so much that music was the only thing he could do and not think about the society and his family and love. good humour throughout, very well scripted. i am kinda enlightened as well as confused at the moment.... see, I love music production, n i ve been doing it since 2011 when i was in 11th standard (similarly started....just to show off and all, and later on i really started loving what i was doing).... i did engineering after that (have few backlogs), but still kept doing music and sfx for short films, built a KZbin channel, that deals with few genres. But very less people whom i know supported me (few of my friends genuinely do..... not my family, they are literally scared) everyone thinks that i can't earn good in this field, and if i dont earn good then i wont be able to look after my parents..... basically, i sit in front of my Digital Audio Workstation every morning, compose music, sometimes upload them on KZbin, program or produce for few other people I know...... this is what i do.... i don't know how can I feed my stomach with the passion I have, coz it's for a long term.... i am sure that I can never leave my passion ever in life

Faking anything is misguiding yourself Ye saari cheeze talent + lots of passion ho tab hota h 1. it's not easy to crack SSB, It's there passion to be there and ofcourse you need to be talented to be there 2. those geek hackers are equally passionate and talented to get into anybody else's system and tell that person dude your are fucked up.. similarly with IAS and any other so called boring jobs, people there are more passionate than talented to be there

This is what differentiates TVF from others. Creativity in their storytelling which so easily resonates with youth, their way of handling issues that youth faces and ability to convey messages without being judgemental or biased is just impeccable.
