Why learn in English for the big people?? I understand for the kids bc they don’t understand but you guys are big enough to learn and sing in your language. Yes Ik it’s all the word of god but still, the language is fading away and will slowly be gone if this still continues.

What’s wrong with spreading the Good News to the world in every language ? That’s why EOTC is only preached in Ethiopia only. We should learn from Catholic and other churches that preach in every language. We are only minimizing our potential members,. We can still have Amharic or other Ethiopian languages as classes specifically for the youth. We r loosing them in droves to Protestant churches because they don’t understand Amharic inside out.
