Passion Over Profit - The Documentary

On December 23rd Victor Fontanez teamed up with The Two-Six Project and Barber Kings to give back to his community for the 1st Annual Christmas Giveback. Here is the full length documentary showing the inspiration, and foundation that Vic acquired to make that happen. This documentary was put together to inspire and motivate not only the youth, but anybody out there chasing their dreams. We hope this project could spark something in you that will help manifest your vision.

If there’s one thing I learned from 3 years of the Navy, it’s that my spirit animal is a fucking duck. I wake up bright and early in the morning saying “Quack, quack! Let’s get this bread” and that used to be for when my job was painting a ship and scrubbing dirty ass toilets and busting down rust and getting dirty from dragging and lifting dirty rusty chains weighing over 100lbs a piece as a deck hand. Now the new grind is barbering. The bread is this skill and knowledge and the want to be more and be better than I am when I woke up by the time I go to sleep that same day. Everyday presents its new challenges and lessons whether it’s in the shop or out of the shop and I accept the lessons brought onto me so when I leave and get set free back into the normal world in 4 more years I can spread my wealth of skill and knowledge like you’ve done for so many others in this community. Thank you for putting me back on track and my head back in the game, for reminding me and many others why we chose this life, why we do this everyday!! I hope you prosper more than what you’ve done now in the years to come!

Hey my brother this left me in tears!!! I’m starting my new business which is remodeling kitchens and bathrooms. Although I am very skilled being able to build an entire house, inside and outside. I am that guy who will help those in need that want basically that dream kitchen or bathroom that either don’t have enough money or don’t have a dime to get it done.
