Used to jam to this song when my husband and I were young and newly married. Now after more than a decade we have had 2 kids 2 separations and many ups and downs. This song brings tears to my eyes now. Even through our darkest hardest times where we worried we would not make it we were mostly scared to lose our best friend. I remember thinking, if we get divorced could we still text each other funny memes and watch the shows we love together? B/c I would miss that part too much. And thats what this song makes me think of. Trying to make a marriage work and raising kids is hard as hell. We forget why we first started it all sometimes. Then we remember and we realize its worth it. But that doesn’t stop the hard times from coming now and then. We just have to fight them away until we cant anymore. For now we still have it in us I think.

sometimes we get carried away by the things we say when we're stressed out. We don't really mean it; The words just come out, and most of the time, it's hurtful. There's nothing wrong with the relationship, it's normal to feel insecure or lost at times. It's the understanding and communication that it's important. The courage to come up to tell someone how you really feel, and then you work it out. Sometimes it takes a mental breakdown or fight to really see the light in things. love is everywhere, but most importantly, it's inside you :)
