@JamieCullumPiano Haha you didn't know that i didn't know how to read music? Well yeah, I'm very limited in my playing, infact, I don't know how to play progressions on ALL notes. I have my strongpoints but for the most part, I transpose alot because i'm only comfortable in playing in certain notes. But yeah, i love r&b, soul, and jazz so thats what i'm most influenced by.

@machubuh, Hey :D Actually, it's not a weird question. It gets asked all the time! Basically what I'm doing, is i'm isolating the piano from the vocals (it acts as an in-ear monitor). If I didn't have the headphones, i would have to play the piano through my speakers while I sing and i wouldn't be able to add reverb and compression to the vocals and separate the vocal track from the piano. It gives it a distinct clean sound between the two :) hope this helps!

@JamieCullumPiano haha hey man.. umm i don't know what it's called, but I can tell u that my left hand is playing G,B,C,E on a higer register and on the right it's B..That's the first note.. then 2nd, it's F#,B,C,E and on the right it's G#. LOL Messy i know but i hope this helps.

@music85lover32 Hello :) Well, I play piano by ear so I don't use chord/sheet music (I wish my brain worked right to be able to read music). Other than that, my limited knowledge of putting chords together and knowing what I like to hear, helps me to accompany my voice during the vids. The reason why it's jazzy is cuz I listen to jazz and r&b. If i listened to classical, it prolly would sound alot different. hope this helps.

I didn't know the song before hand, so when I heard the "Heard Em Say" part, I went crazy over it because it was such a nice song. Sadly enough, the original is nothing like what you've made it into!
