Passive Range of Motion of the Upper Extremity as taught by Professor Julie Roberts for the Kellogg Community College Physical Therapist Assistant Program. It is part of the PTA 112 course.
This a GREAT refresher video! In two weeks I start my final (inpatient) clinical before graduation. Your videos have been an important part of my review and preparation since it's been a while since I've done these PROM exercises with patients in supine! The one thing I would change is having the ability to see hand placements when you are working on the patients UE - it would be helpful if there were some way to visually see hand placements!

While the presenter is confident about the content, it's a shame no-one pointed out that it would have been better for the camera person to have filmed from the same side of the woman's body as the presenter was using for demonstration. It's unclear what the presenter is actually doing with the upper limb; the audience cannot view the demonstration properly.

Explanation of termanology would help! Also maybe an overhead view of movements would help.

My PALS couldn't possibly have this kind of ROM done on him, so it didn't show me anything except what it would look and feel like on a normal person. I have to massage him for quite some time to get any real ROM happening and yet his arm can't be moved anything like this. You should do some video with actual ALS patients in various stages of shoulder freeze, with muscle wastage so that we can see how to do this as the carer of our loved ones
