I submitted my passport application on 11/12/2023, but it has been under review for the Police Verification Report for over three months. After waiting without any updates, I reached out to the RPO Lucknow via email to inquire about the status. In their reply on 19/03/2024, they instructed me to visit the Regional Passport Office in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, after scheduling an online enquiry appointment. They also asked me to bring all relevant documents, including those related to my higher qualifications, along with self-attested photocopies, to meet the enquiry officer. Following their instructions, I visited the RPO Lucknow on 09/05/2024 and submitted all the required documents. However, despite completing this step, I have not received any updates about the application status or verification process till now and the status still shows under review at RPO. what should i do now anyone going through same please help 🙏

People relax , I had my police verification done after 40days of visiting the rpo and submitting my docs there . The police officer visited my home and he called on the same day . Passport full procedure is going to take 4-5months max, it's not fast for everyone. If after 6months you don't receive your passport then it's worrisome otherwise relax and let the procedures go on its own pace.
