A cover only in the sense that what Beyoncé made was a cover of the song written by BC Jean and Toby Gad, originally performed by Jean in 2008. Beyoncé's cover was that same year. In this video the pianist is Toby Gad .. yes the same co-writer of the song .. the Piano Diaries are a celebration of his hit songs. He invited Angelina to England with him to perform .. this is the seventh version I have heard. I am not sure if it is really a cover when a singer is standing next to the composer as they jam to create a different version of the song. Couple of points, Toby co wrote this with BC Jean and this is his re-imagining of the song and he asked Angelina to perform it for him. He is a quite famous writer and this collaboration with Angelina has already produced new songs. One of those is "Bad Valentine" and you can get an early live performance of this on James Thiels channel. Worth the look. Thanks for this great reaction.

This is not a Beyonce' cover Erinna, Its a Toby Gad song he wrote and Beyonce' covered it long ago and recently Toby Gad asked Angelina Jordan to Reinvent the song for his piano Diaries Project .
