Thanks, I really owe my entire trip to you. I never left the country before, but I saw your video on Medellin and thought it would be the perfect time to try out my passport. I went completely alone and was there for 2 weeks and just wow, really, wow. Colombia is an amazing country, coming from a United States Citizen the exchange rate was great. I am by no means a millionaire but when I was in Colombia I surely felt like one. Next time I go my Spanish will be perfect.

Absolutely loved Medellin. I went this summer and I'm going back next summer. If you're in the US and have reservations about traveling abroad, go-- you won't be disappointed. It was one of the best trips I've taken. Love that city.

My first time in Medellin was in 2003 and I didn't really speak any Spanish. now more than 25 trips later to Medellin and fluent in Spanish let me tell you thank you so much for these videos. My boy Jubril! Still killin it, kudos man. I spent 3 months traveling around Colombia, love it. I want to go back! San Gil is dope for adventure activities, Cali is the spot for dancing salsa and nightlife, Valle de Cocora is amazing to see for the tallest palm trees in the world, and I really liked the vibe in Popayán, a smaller colonial style city in the south.

I'm glad that you liked my city, apart from Popayán you can go to the purace volcano that is more than 4000 meters above sea level, also visit the high mountains and the archaeological parks of Tierra adentro and San Agustín, if you have not gone to these places I recommend them for when I return

The first time I have watched your videos, and really enjoyed it, I have lived just outside Medellin for six years, and wouldn't want to move from Colombia. You are certainly an excellent advert for the City, and visited many places I never will, because I can't match your budget, but that doesn't take anything away from the information you have given, I am sure there are many people who will visit as a result. Just be aware, that there are many places to eat, much cheaper, and probably serving more traditional Colombian food, and still at excellent quality. Thanks again

Just flew back home to Northern California from a 5 day trip to Bogota (and small towns within 2 hour drives). I went down there to see a Colombian Latina that I met. What got me was how clean Colombia is compared to every other non-1st world country that I have been (and I have been to many). Yes, there are a few areas that I saw that were pretty bad like the Santa Fe area of Bogota. But in all, Colombians seem to take pride in cleanliness. I was impressed. Not to mention the woman that I saw took me everywhere and we did so much. Very nice trip. Me and my buddy from L.A. will hit Medellin in several months.
