@@Pirategloom I understand copyright, though I’ve seen hundreds of people get away with it just by Messing with the pitch of the video. If you just lower the pitch, or raise the speed, the algorithm won’t recognize it as being trademarked, otherwise great video all else considered. I understand that my original comment was kinda harsh, but my intent was only to inform that people don’t like it, like I said, lowering/raise the pitch/speed of the song will avoid copyright. and as long as you aren’t making money off it, the creator most likely won’t care that you used their song(unless their an absolute a-hole)

⁠@@shadow-silence yeah ik all this- personally i dislike editing the pitch or speed, that’s why i do it the way i do. and yeah i understand how people could hate it, but sadly they’d hate it either way pitch or just background music😭 i just don’t like taking the risk of getting it partially blocked or getting a strike since i don’t know what is allowed and what isn’t.

@@Pirategloom I can understand where your coming from, and by all means, keep doing what you feel is best. Though I will inform you that I’ve seen WAY to many people get by copyright just by not making money off the video, seeing as they don’t make any money off the vid, the strike is less likely to be imposed, and if it is, it’s FAR less likely to result in the dreaded DEMONETIZATION. As a KZbinr myself(though I haven’t posted yet because my old account got hacked), I can understand why you do it like you do(I did it that way sometimes to), all I’m saying is that there ARE other ways to do it if you ever feel comfortable with copyright
