Ehem… time to drop a cute little poem I wrote about Dazai ❤ A hollow, wretched husk, condemned eternally. Devoid of all compassion, devoid of all delight. He's cursed not by gods nor demons, but by his own malignity. He knows no love, for none was granted him. He knows no care, for none was bestowed upon him. He knows no happiness, for he devours it with grim glee. In the shadows he dwells, a soul forever lost, a heart forever numb.

Their dialogues and inner monologues are so good??? Kunikida and Atsushi don't overreact, Ranpo and Dazai figure things out real fast. And overall, they are collectively calm and handle everything like they would in canon. They know that Dazai has changed and are trying to be better, know when to drop a topic and hold off a question, and not judge him about his past. And the way you handle the Dazai & Akutagawa situation is quite good, their relationship is not a simple straight-up abuse but a rather complicated one. Everything from the chosen video for them to react to their designs to their thoughts and interactions are 11/10. You are one of my favorite BSD react youtuber.

I really enjoyed this video, the designs are simple and accurate, the choice of videos is adequate, and there's a good balance of reacting, inner monologue, and outer dialogue. One of my only criticisms would be the dialogue itself. The dynamics are accurate and I think it's a really nice thing when people don't misunderstand the way characters interact, but your hacky use of synonyms makes them come off a little too professional for a team that prides themselves on being close knit and family, especially Atsushi who isn't really eloquent with his speech in canon given his upbringing. I don't bring this up to bring you down, I really think your videos are awesome and VERY entertaining and I think criticism is necessary to bring your channel to your full potential since you seem to have a lot of it! Overall a pretty good video, again I hope you don't take this the wrong way because I do like seeing your videos lol and I hope to see more from you in the future!

Really appreciate the way you put your words and constructive criticism together ❤ I apologize for the slight inaccuracy! I tend to add a lot of synonyms to make the dialogues less repetitive from time to time. I don’t remember much dialogues from the anime as I stick to mangas more closely, this probably lead to a more sophisticated(?) speech. I love the idea of Atsushi kind of being a nerd from the amount of books he read during the orphanage. I apologize if this small problem did ruin the immersion, I will take this advice into consideration!

@@kikum0 Awww Atsushi is a bit of a dork. And yes, in the manga the direct translations seem more advanced, if that's the right word, since Japanese and English are veryyyyy different and it's hard to find words that mean exactly what the Japanese version says, so I completely understand. Asagiri is well-versed in literature (I mean... the whole series is about authors LOL) and would've written BSD with fellow enthusiasts in mind, so the vocabulary is much more worldly. I still thoroughly enjoyed this video and all your other ones, and it makes me incredibly happy to see how you think of your viewers and take things into consideration. It shows a lot of observation and maturity on your part. Again, I can't wait to see how you and your channel grow!
