While the old man may have saved tanjiro it’s also possible we would have gotten demon tanjiro from the start I hate that people think tanjiro would go insane like he did in the end he gained an immense amount of blood from muzan and still was sane enough that he didn’t kill nezuko a small amount of blood probably wouldn’t affect him the same and it’s about 50/50 that he would be immune to the sun right off the bat I mean he became immune almost immediately when he became demon king tanjiro

8:47 who told that not every demon is bad? Shinobu? Bruh she hates them. When they first meet Tanjiro said that Nezuko is his sister and she had never devoured a human. Right after that Shinobu said: "oh is that true? You poor thing.." (Dont remember what she said after but she was planning on killing Nezuko without pain like she won't feel her and won't suffer. Tomioka was the first one to believe in Nezuko. And protected them. So yeah Shinobu would never said that she didn't kill her just because master gave her a chance.
