not necessarily, Muzan transferred all his blood into Tanjiro to become The next demon King, and conquer the sun+destroy all demon slayers. Tanjiro bit Nezuko not realizing she was already human. so when Kanao put the potion to turn him human again, Everybody who sacrificed themselves were guiding Tanjiro in the right way of becoming human again :) (I hope that makes sense-)
