Wow! You really got some amazing deals on that sale! The WHAT IF # 9 with the 1950's Avengers is my favorite issue of the whole run. You were wishing that Marvel had done more with this strange and peculiar team and they did! 🥳Almost 30 years later (in 2006), Jeff Parker wrote the Agents of Atlas mini-series featuring the same group. The mini series led to a short-lived 😭 ongoing series, and a few one-shots and mini-series including some focusing on a single the member of the group. In 2019 they sadly moved away from the 1950's vibe and the New Agents of Atlas became a team of all-Asian superheroes. I got nothing against the concept but they should have left the 1950's team alone and pick a brand new name for the Asian group. Don't destroy the past, just build something new, is my p.o.v.
