How was Amity able to recognize Vee as a basilisk? The only one that was able to correctly identify The Inspector in The First Day was Viney and that was only because of a Beastkeeping class.

Vee uses she/they so she is feminine. Her partner, Masha, on the other hand, uses they/them, so they're non-binary despite looking like an androgynous female teenager.
