Press and hold the cook button with one hand and press & hold the spatula which gives pressure to get the cook button hold on this process for sometime and eventually after adding tomatoes it automatically be in cook mode [{this process is because the electric cooker need some amount of weight to turn into cook mode}] I hope this helps​@@chamuprabha8056
