Maroon, Gold, Black, Amber, Purple, Deep Reds, Deep Greens, Deep Blue. But Truly if you style it in the right way, to truly compliment your shape, you'll find ways of making anything, any color work. You just have to work at it before you get used to getting it down so easy. For inspiration watch the various goths as well as lead character, Akasha, in The Queen of the Damned film. Akasha has an egyptian-goth style to her wardrobe and makeup. I'm reasonably tanned being half trinidadian, half norwegian and I'm starting to love gold for it's fun highlighting capabilities.

it always depends on what brand you buy! real hair wigs always look more natural, but are kinda expensive, but there are fake hair ones that DO look real. again, brand matters!

you have like special wigs that are fake , but you can flatiron them, curl them, wash them and they wont get all filthy and full of knots like normal fake hair it actually looks kinda looks like reall hair, my mother has extancions like that

+Genevieve Bower hey, express yourself! Here, always slowly introduce a new style, when you change too fast you would seem like a different person. Check your school's rule about make up like this, since you are young you don't need that much makeup, eyeliner, mascara, and simple eyeshadow would get that look you want to achieve. I would also talk about it to your parents, I'm sure that would understand! But don't change your style so quickly into pastel goth, you are young and I know in 7th and 8th grade is when drama happens and some people will judge you. Probably high school is when you could go full on pastel goth, and were more makeup. (This is based off of experience and opinions)

I started wearing makeup in the 9th grade (eyeshadow, lipstick, mascara, etc) so you aren't too far off from when I began. Maybe start off slow, with a little eyeliner and mascara, and work your way up from natural makeup to whatever fits your comfort level.

You should be fine with out using lashes. Use a lash primer and then mascara to give the look of full lashes, or I know EcoTools Barely There lashes are a good starting point for falsies. They truly are barely there, but allow you to get used to the feel of them, and let you practice putting on falsies before you do a bold lash.

Don't be afraid to be yourself or experiment with new things, I used to be nervous about wearing makeup that isn't natural but hopefully you'll get the hang of it after a while. You can always do other things for the hair...something as simple as hair clips or beanies can work. Also, you can always look into colored clip-in extensions, they're a bit cheaper and a great alternative to full out wigs ^__^ For eyes, I myself cannot wear contacts but if you do the white liner under the eyes, lighter colors on the lids with a medium dark color on the edges and use visine to clear out any redness, you can get a similar large eye appearance. It won't be as noticeable as it would be with the contacts, but it will still give a similar impression :)

Just wear the style then. The contacts are def not required (and frankly circle lenses look bizarre IRL; they are meant for pictures really) and the wig... if you're really good and shop around you can get decent pastel wigs for not much money. (Wigs can get uncomfortably warm to wear too.) Otherwise there is nothing wrong with your hair, unless you want to dye it instead. Pastel goth is just the gothis aesthetic with pastel tones and more cutesy things. I like it and trust me, when I was younger I would have been much more punk-y and goth-y had I the money; I still don't, but I've been able to incorporate more of those things into my wardrobe at a budget too. Now I just have to see what pastel-y things I can find....

Just put your own outfits together from wherever you usually shop. If you understand the aesthetic you could make an entirely thrift store outfit. I do all my shopping in Primark (though I do buy my Gothic/Sweet lolita from japan that can be incorporated into a pastel goth outfit) some looks borrow elements from nu goth and nu grunge as well as fairy kei If you know what you like you'll find it in any store. Kid's section is probably best for pastel clothing, Claire's Accessories have nice albeit overpriced stuff. If you are in the UK I recommend Primark or buy their stuff resold on eBay. I just bought a mint green and purple My Little Pony shirt from them which can be paired with black tights, doc martens and some purple bat hello kitty earrings I got from Claire's. maybe some lace armwarmers, heavy eyeliner, mint/pink eyeshadow But really and truly only you know what you actually want to wear, so just keep an eye out. Oh shit. TJ Maxx. Their Modbox section has a line of t shirts that are sort of creepy cute in black and pastel

Pastel goth isn't actually goth. It's basically soft grunge but it's too cool. I like the traditional goth of pretty much all black with a bit of purple or red but really if I wasn't so tan, wasn't into the traditional goth and was into really girly things then I would so do this. Keep doing what you're doing Alexa! You are amazing! :D

Pastel goth seems to be more like Sweet Lolita, whereas Bubble Goth seems to be inspired by more of a punk kind of look. Thats what I think anyway :P

goths are intended to be all black and kinda associated with everything dark. Pastel goths are more lighter and lolita type, we intended to be more brighter and weirder with our multicolored shirts with sayings, ahir etcs.
