I rinsed the lightener out and then applied the Olaplex #2 and let sit for 10 min before toning.

The unicorn hair was cool but so was that beautiful white! Most "white" dye jobs I see usually just look like a really pale blonde, but that actually like a white/silver! Beautiful!

Thank you guys so much....this was a fun one ;) She is able to maintain the life of these colors by using REALLY cold water when shampooing, a mild shampoo, only wash 1-2 times a week and using dry shampoo in between. This type of color is definitely a commitment and will need to be refreshed quicker than more saturated times. She'll probably get 3-4 weeks out of this color.

stylistrebeccataylor I heard so many good things about Olaplex. Can a simple person get this for the hair? Because we don't have this brand in our country, and I want to bleach my hair, and die them pastel pink (I went to hairdressers but I do not work as one if that helps).

Thanks for sharing your trick with the clean conditioner as buffer zone between the color and the blond... i want to try something similar with a gradient look at the end of my hair and i wondered if it will work with the buffer zone. So you showed me that my thoughts were right and i´ll try it during my christmas holidays :) I also like the style you showed us in this video...this look is so amazing

Age is irrelevant in my opinion. You've lived long enough that as long as something in your life doesn't prohibit fun colors in your hair then I say go for it! And if your hair is light enough (say, with grey or white) then you don't even need to bleach it first! I'm discovering the joy of dying my silver hair (maybe 20% grey) with fun fashion colors. My natural brown gets a subtle tint, and my silver hairs turn vivid colors!

This tutorial is brilliant! I have two questions, how does your client maintained her color since it's a semi-permanent and there are so many different beautiful layers? And because you're not using foil do you find that your color mixes when you lay the different layers of hair on top of each other?

Man I wish you could color my hair. Last time I got mine colored, she used hot water and it bled for a couple days and the color lasted a week..paid quite a bit of money for it too..

So how do you remove the color and go back to blonde? I tried a bleach bath with olaplex to reduce damage. And only my roots turned blonde as the rest of my hair faded green blue and dark pink....

How long do the dyes last? I know it will look good and like new for about a week, but how long before they start to fade and you need to redo / change colour? This is absolutely gorgeous, but if i'm going to do it i want it to last more than a month, otherwise the cost is going to hurt the bank xD

depends on product and how many times you wash it every week. if you wash it 2-3 times every week it'd last up to 1-2 months

Yep you can Mixing vivids is very similar to paint, and conditioner is the white paint ☺️
